Service Description

Aikyam Ashtanga is the yang of the style. It uses ujjayi breath, active stretching, and the body's heat to facilitate its opening while directing the mind into stillness. Please note this isn't Mysore or Ashtanga Vinyasa. While we follow the first and second series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa series to develop strength, flexibility, and purification of body and mind, Aikyam Ashtanga isn't about the endless pursuit of postures. Here you will start learning Kriyas and other higher yoga practices that will get you to tap inwardly, feel your energy, enhance your body, and find inner stillness both in movement and in inaction.
